Lecavalier has been dealt to the LA Kings along with pending UFA defenseman Luke Schenn for prospect Jordan Weal and a 3rd round pick. Good for Vinny. Salary retained on both Flyers players.

It is being reported that Vinny intends to retire after this season, and with Schenn a UFA, the salary retention is a non issue for Philadelphia.
