There are no shortage of spectacular candidates this season but I have to say Corey Crawford.
He is tied with Cory Schneider for 1st in starts, is 1st in save percentage (minimum 30 starts) and 1st in quality start percentage (minimum 30 starts).
There may be goaltenders more valuable to their team (I'm looking at you, Schneider) but in terms of simply stopping the puck nobody has been better than Crawford thus far.
James Tanner
While Corey Crawford is having one hell of a year, the Vezina should at this time be awarded to Robert Luongo. The Panthers are a five or six player team who are racking up points mainly because of Luongo.
Both guys are playing great, but since Luongo plays behind a much worse team, he gets my vote.
Also, honorable mention to both Louis Dominge and James Reimer who have been spectacular in limited games for fairly bad teams.
Peter Tessier
For me it comes down between two former teammates in Schneider and Luongo both of who are having huge seasons and pushing their teams into legitimacy and the playoffs.
Washington is talented without Holtby as is Chicago without Crawford but when you look at games played and save percentage and factor in GAA (meh) but add in age. Luongo gets my vote as he may never have another chance and he's doing this at age 36.
