Quick update, but I just got off the phone with a top source who now believes, for the first time based on his discussions, that a we will know sooner than later the fate of Steven Stamkos, and that fate looks to be heading away from Tampa.
"A lot can happen of course, and I do believe Stamkos will give the Bolts an opportunity to be competitive in the market and maybe match whatever offer he draws from Toronto, Montreal, Long Island, Detroit or New Jersey...but at the end of the day I am hearing more about contingency plans without Stammer in Tampa than I am with him staying put."
One thing is certain, between Stamkos and Drouin the rumors this summer will flow largely through the west coast of Florida...

Also....my friends at "Game of Stats" just let me know that they are opening up a few more, but a limited number (since they are free to play) beta invites. They are first come/first served and will only be open for a few hours until they fill the spots...I know many of you are already playing for free and winning stuff...but here's a chance for a few more to get involved...Its a really cool fantasy hockey game.
