Fabbri has played in 51 games for the Blues this season, scoring 11 goals and 18 assists.
The bandage on the Fabbri injury is the recalling of forwards Kenny Agostino and Magnus Paajarvi from the AHL Chicago Wolves. Agostino leads the AHL overall with 18 goals, 42 assists in 48 games this season. Paajarvi has dressed in 25 games for the Wolves this season, posting six goals and 10 assists.
Replacing Fabbri will not be as simple as calling up two kids from the AHL.

Fabbri plays center and wing for the Blues.
If Blues GM Doug Armstrong wants to make a trade for a forward to replace Fabbri, he will have to trade a big contract, like Kevin Shattenkirk's $4.25M AAV. Armstrong has just $797,000 in available cap space today.
