In this edition of the hotstove, we discuss which coach is most on the hot seat.

Alain Vigneault and I don't think it is close.
For years, the New York Rangers have been an excellent regular season team that has struggled to get it done in the playoffs.
With a strong returning core and the off-season addition of Kevin Shattenkirk, one of the biggest names available, the expectation was the Rangers would be one of the better teams in the Eastern Conference.
That hasn't proven to be the case as they have just two wins in their first 10 games -- eight of which have been at home -- and, at times, have looked disastrous in the process.
If things don't turn around, and fast, I think the Rangers will make a coaching change.
Jared Crozier
Todd McLellan.
His team is underachieving, and that market that is so starved for success with no excuses any more. Expected to win the division, they have limped out of the gate badly.
Plus, he has thrown his star players under the bus on a couple of occasions already, without the desired result. So he has played that card way too soon, a card you only get to play so many times before you are shown the door because the team quits on you.
Peter Tessier
There are coaches who should be feels by heat but likely aren’t due to moves by GM- looking at you Montreal. There are others who changed recently(last couple of years) and have top guys in place and are too close to those hires as well as injuries- hi Minnesota and Anaheim.
However the one coach I think who should be concerned is Alain Vigneault. He’s a good coach- top tier in the league but something is coming undone in NYC and despite the big contract he might have to go simply for the sake of change. They aren’t there yet, but in 10 more games they certainly could be.
