Ken Hitchcock's Dallas Stars (9-7-0) are in Raleigh on Monday to take on Bill Peters' Carolina Hurricanes (6-5-4). Game time is 6 p.m. CT. The game will be televised on Fox Sports Southwest.
This is the second and final meeting of the season between the interconference teams, and the lone game in Raleigh. In Dallas on Oct. 21, the Stars skated to a 4-3 win. Head-to-head with the Hurricanes, the Stars have won each of the last six games.
Dallas brings a 3-5-0 road record into this tilt. On Saturday, the Stars earned a 5-0 home win against the New York Islanders, playing one of their most complete games of the season. Ben Bishop cruised to a 14-save shutout. Bishop is expected to get the nod in goal again on Monday.
Tyler Pitlick is expected to be back in the lineup for the Stars on Monday. Marc Methot remains out of the lineup.
The Hurricanes enter this game coming off a 4-3 home overtime loss on Saturday to the Chicago Blackhawks. The Hurricanes had a 3-1 lead in the third period but were unable to close out the game.
