Just got off the phone with one team exec and he was saying that he was "absolutely shocked" at the current price the Rangers are looking for in exchange for Rick Nash.

"[The Rangers] want more [for Nash] than Montreal wants for Pac and Buffalo Kaner," the team executive said.

The source went on to say, "There is no way. None. I could only respond with, 'I guess you can always ask, but this is just your MSRP, right?'"

The 33-year-old Nash has 15 goals and 25 points in 53 games this season. Nash has 15 goals and 41 points in 77 career playoff games, including three goals and five points in 12 games last season.
