On Phil Kessel...

I am not yet sold on the rumors that Kessel is moving. He is still a vital player on this team and from what I am told Malkin was upset that he wasn't playing enough with Kessel in the playoffs...Asking around it feels like the Kessel talk is being generated out of speculation...

On Rick Nash...

Nash still has a lot to bring to a team (in the regular season) and I would expect a big year in '18-19...Teams are looking at one year deals though and that may be what happens with Nash in Montreal. This rumor simply won't go away...

On Justin Faulk...

There is no doubt that the Hurricanes want Kapanen and the Leafs want Hanifin, but as of now I am hearing...more and more about Faulk to Toronto....This may just be posturing on Carolina's part...

On Max Domi...

A few days ago I was only hearing Winnipeg and Buffalo...today I am hearing Montreal and Toronto with interest...more Montreal...The Canadiens are turning over A LOT of stones I am told...more on this fact in the next blog...
