The Washington Capitals are still Stanley Cup Champions.

This is just a reminder in case you forgot.

The Capitals beat the Golden Knights (the worst named team in the history of professional sports; non-racist division) to win the first Stanley Cup in team history.

Fact: Only 19 of the NHL's 31 teams have ever won the Stanley Cup.

Blues, Canucks, Jets, Coyotes, Knights, Predators, Sabres, Panthers, Senators, Sharks, Wild and Blue Jackets. They've never won anything.

But the Capitals have.

They will open their new season October 6th against the Bruins (at home). There will be a six hour celebration and banner raising. Then the game will start at 1:30 AM!

There's just not much hockey news, so here's the list of Best Albums of 2018 so far:

1. Arctic Monkeys Tranquility Base Hotel and Casino
2. Jeff Rosenstock - Post
3. Jim James - Uniform Distortion
4. Beach House - 7
5. Decemberists - I'll be Your Girl
6. Breeders - All Nerve
7. Kacey Musgrave - Golden Hour
8. MGMT - Little Dark Age

here's some ones I haven't really listened to very much yet, but which I'll eventually buy and consume.

Soccer Mommy, Nico Case, Father John Misty, Kanye, Snail Mail, Courtney Barnett, the Hookworms, the Internet, U.S Girls.

Thanks for reading!
