Darren Dreger is saying that a trade is very possible in the next 24-48 hours. Stopping short of calling a Karlsson deal imminent. I have talked to a few sources, and the will is there but the Sens are asking a ton.

More to come

Here we go with the team breakdowns...Starting with Boston...

What Went Right Last Season:
A lot. The Bruins put together the 5th best record in the NHL last season with 112 points They outscored their opponents by 56 goals. That tied them for third in that category. Marchand had 85 points, despite missing 14 games…Tukka Rask was very solid. In the Regular season they were good in all categories…4th in Power Play, 3rd in PK

What May Keep That From Happening Again:
They could not get such solid balanced scoring…Rask could struggle…Halak is the new backup and will have to at least match the 16 wins from Khudobin last year. They surprised everyone with how good their young players were and how they fit in…This year they will have to prove they can do it again…

What Went Wrong Last Season:
They ran into Tampa in the second round of the playoffs….And they struggled to put away Toronto in round one and that took a toll.

What They Did to Address Their Issues:
They brought in Wagner from NY and Nordstrom from Carolina to help solidify their 3rd/4th lines…and give them speed throughout.

How old are they?
They average over 27.5 which puts them just into the oldest third of teams in the NHL.

How many ELC’s do they have making impacts: 5 (A lot)

They have Jake Debrusk, Charlie McAvoy, Brandon Carlo, and , and of course...Donato
