The Coyotes kick off their pre-season tonight with a match against the NHL's most overrated team this side of San Jose, the Las Vegas (don't call us Las Vegas Just Vegas) Golden Knights.
After a summer of hockey writing, it's great for there to be an actual game, though I suspect viewing options are limited outside the realm of streaming. (And I am never, ever, going to stream a game on my laptop. Now If I could hook it into my TV and it didn't look like crap, I would, but I've never been able to set it up in a way that would make watching it worth my time. Besides, even if I could, I don't know that I would because I spoiled myself with the ability to tape games and watch them in 60 mins. I don't think I could handle a real-time game unless it was a playoff game).
Here is Craig Morgan with the roster for tonight's game.

It's a shame I won't get to watch this game, because I would very much like to see what Barett Hayton looks like in an NHL game.
Other than that, not much going on. There are 70 something players in camp split over three groups and Tippett - that is to say Tocchet - said they will be making first cuts over the next couple of days.
Whether the game is watchable or not, I have to say that even just the first preseason game gives some extra excitement to the start of the season.
