The Penguins have now dropped 5 games in a row for the first time in a VERY long time, and while it is still very early and I don't anyone thinks Sid and Geno and company aren't going to be able to turn this around, there is reason for major concern...

First off...Sid and Geno are actually having amazing seasons...especially Geno, who has 20 points in only 14 games...And yet, Malkin's plus/minus? ZERO. Almost 2 points a game, and not a plus player...Contrast that to Sid...15 points in 14 games...but a plus 6.

The Penguins are scoring 3.5 goals per game, but they are also giving up 3.5 goals a game...And worse still 2-4-1 at home? Unacceptable for GM Rutherford...and there will be changes...

My sources tell me that Phil Kessel is the player to look to...Phil is having a great season as well, but defensively he is an issue...I am hearing teams are discussing Kessel, and have been since the summer, but Rutherford is looking for multiple parts...and especially help on the D-end.

What's the Buzz?

What kind of return can the Penguins get for Phil Kessel?
