Some Coyotes to Play Buffalo Tonight

The Buffalo Sabres will play host to a partial compliment of the Arizona Coyotes roster tonight.

The Coyotes will be without starting goalie Antti Raanta, top pairing defenseman Jason Demers, and their second/third line centre Christian Dvorak, all of whom are most likely out for the season.

Alex Galchenyuk is day to day with some form of body injury (either upper or lower, I just don't care any more) and may or may not play.

Vinnie Hinostroza is also out indefinitely.

Michael Grabner may or may not be leaving the NHL to become a pirate.

When will they play again?

No one knows. They are out "indefinitely" which usually means, when translated from hockey's minimalist aesthetic (as it pertains to useful information) a "long-ass time."

GM John Chayka has denied the rumour that the remaining Coyotes will live in hyperbolic chambers between games from now on.

But with five core players out for an L.A.T the Coyotes are going to have to think outside the box here. But not literally - sitting outside of a box for any period of time is dangerous and can lead to injury.

Some good news, the Team's Top(ish) prospect, Nick Merkley has returned to the Tuscon Roadrunners lineup after (you'll never guess) MISSING THE ENTIRE SEASON UP TO NOW.

With the playoffs now most likely a statistical impossibility, the Coyotes must turn to solving the team's most important mystery: who hit the Gypsy with their car, and how do they lift the curse?
