Dallas? Winter Classic? State of Hockey Loses to Dallas Again

The Winter Classic or should I say the annual Blackhawks or Bruins outdoor game will bein Dallas at the Cotton Bowl in 2020.

I know it is all about ratings but the NHL could do a whole lot better in promoting many other teams, the Wild included. Yes they lack the marquee players but have been in the playoffs for 6 straight seasons and have one of the league's best coaches calling the shots.

Dallas? the Cotton Bowl? who cares?

I have to say the funniest topic to me each and every year is the weather heading into the Winter Classic. Of it's warm, it's raining, it's too sunny, etc.

One thing that the NHL would not have to worry about holding the classic in The State of Hockey is the weather. It will be cold enough and the ice will be perfect in Minnesota.

But again the NHL has selected another NHL city over St.Paul or Minneapolis, and to add insult to injury it is the city of Dallas that stole our beloved North Stars.

So wonder who the Stars will select as their opponent?
