There was a morning skate in Brossard today and Julien has finally decided to do something about the scoring slump. The Habs brain train has come up with the following new lines:

Drouin - Danault - Gallagher
Lehkonen - Domi - Armia
Tatar - Kotkaniemi - Byron
Agostino - Chaput - Deslauriers
Hudon - Peca

Mete - Weber
Reilly - Petry
Kulak - Benn
Alzner

Price
Niemi

-Drouin and Domi have been split;
-Domi find himself between two wingers who have had issues finishing, for your best playmaker that might not be the best idea;
-The team's best wingers will be centred by Philippe Danault, this could have been a chance for Kotkaniemi to work with real offensive talent;
-Reilly's purgatory only lasted one game, I guess that's all Julien could handle of Alzner.

The Avalanche has won 1 game out of its last 9 contests and hasn't played since Wednesday against Calgary when they lost 5-3. Colorado might only by a one line team, but what a line! Rantanen (68 points), MacKinnon (66 points) and Landeskog (51 points) will have to be stopped in the Canadiens have any hopes of skating away with the 2 points tonight.

For those wondering what the Youppi! birthday celebrations will include, every fan will receive some crazy hair as they come in, cupcakes will be available behind sections 105 and 326 and there will be a dance contest in which other NHL mascots will take part...Hopefully, this is not the highlight of the game.

The puck is set to drop at 19:00 and the teams have played each other 3 times in 2018, the Avs have won 2 of the 3 meetings.
