Coyotes vs Blues: Pass the Lembas Bread

The Coyotes beat Vegas the other night, and after taking the Stars down last Saturday, have now won a fantastic two games in a row.

Normally, winning two games in a row wouldn't be cause for celebration, however, when a team is injured so much that the loss of Mario Kempe to injury actually affects the team, I think it's worth celebrating.

In fact, just icing a roster at this point is pretty impressive.

But that should be changing soon. The Coyotes are potentially going to get back Brad Richardson and the Kepmester tonight, and centre Christian Dvorak is going to the AHL to play some rehab games after missing the entire year.

That does sound good, but then again, Scmaltz and Raanta are still out, and the team's leading scorer has 12 goals.

Tonight's game is against the Blues, a team that was supposed to be among the best in the NHL going into this season, then sucked for a while, but is now on a mad hot streak and has now pretty much assured themselves a playoff birth in the dismal Western Conference.

Some other thoughts?

Where did the Elves even go in Lord of the Rings and why didn't they help more in the Battle of Gondor?

Also, where were the other Dwarves and why didn't Gandolf use his magic more often?

Why does Malkin only get one game?

Why didn't the Coyotes give Dylan Strome the opportunity to develop more?

Why didn't Technotronic release any more sweet jams after 1989?
