UPDATE:

Well...there it is:

----------------------------------

Just a quick update here, but it looks like Ottawa essentially has until 7 PM tonight to decide if Mark Stone and Ryan Dzingel are going to be re-signed or traded. Obviously the two of them have to want to stay as well, but if they don't then there is a very good chance that they will not be playing in any of the games before the trade deadline according to Bob McKenzie. He also confirmed the report about Matt Duchene not playing:

This is not totally surprising news, although I thought Stone would at least be playing tonight. There is hardly any time left, and I don't like their chances of signing either Stone or Dzingel. The one silver lining is that they need to know either way and if they know a contract isn't possible, then that is more time to deal with trades until Monday at 3 PM.

It will be an incredibly interesting few hours before the game in New Jersey.
