Wild Building Confidence Following 3 Point Weekend |

The win streak may have ended along with Ryan Donato's Wild scoring streak, but three points out of the weekend is not a bad result.
Alex Stalock was on top of his game and he put the Wild in a position that they could have taken the two points. In the end that was not the case, however there was a lot to like about the effort last night.
There is a renewed energy with the Wild, especially the veterans who have stepped up their games to match the compete of the kids. Eric Staal (2 Goals, 6 assists) and Jason Zucker(3 goals, 2 assiste) extended scoring streaks to six and five games respectively. The energy is infectious and it is running throughout the team finally.
Say what you want about fair value in any of the deals that were made. Value is only what someone else will pay for your asset. It is most common for us all to overvalue what we have.
What Paul Fenton accomplished with his moves was to change the dynamic of the Wild team from an older, experienced, plodding, more calculated group to a much younger, energetic, shoot first model that has cap room as the roster continues to transform.
As Craig Leipold stated the team is transitioning on the fly.
