Coyotes Get One Back, Lose one, Play the Ducks and Make a Hell of a Deal

The Coyotes will be looking to make it seven in a row tonight against the Ducks.

The Coyotes are one point out of the playoffs, and somehow are keeping hope alive against long odds.

In the good new dept. they will have back Jason Demers for tonight's game. Demers is a very underrated defenseman who provides an excellent partner for Oliver Ekman-Larsson who will play despite earlier reports that he was sick (Craig Morgan).

OEL will suit up, but Jordan Oesterle will not. Last week when Christian Dvorak came back, Derek Stepan was hurt.

The Coyotes had to keep up their end of the bargain they made with the Dark Lord himself (Miroslav Satan) that stipulates that 90% of their roster be injured at any given time, so Oesterle is out.

Oesterle was forced to the sidelines when a puck went into the crowd, forcing a man to dodge out of the way, which sent a lady's coffee into the air, burning an unpopular usher named Vern, who, in his rage, punched a wall that vibrated just enough to cause a bag of pop corn sitting precariously upon a different lady's lap to fall to the floor, where a different and more popular usher slipped, which caused Lawson Crouse to call out for concern, and by a total coincidence this usher happened to also be named Jordan, so Oesterle turned and then was hit with some form of unknown projectile.

He'll miss ten weeks.

Also the Coyotes are playing the Ducks and they suck so hopefully they'll win and we can all celebrate tomorrow when, due to Minnesota losing to the Preds, the Coyotes will hold the last wild card spot.

That's not as improbable as the director of the Johnny Knoxville vehicle The Ringer winning the Oscar for Best picture, or say a creepy, uneducated career criminal becoming President of my Mom's book club, but it's pretty damn close.

Girls just wanna have fun!
