Keep Looking Forward Wild

Last night turned into the nightmare we had hoped that it wouldn't be after Thursday's big win in Tampa. It started out bad and got worse as the Eild gave up three goals in the first period, that could have been four had it hit been for Bruce Boudreau's challenge that nullified another first period Panther goal.

Those games are going to happen no matter how well a team is prepared let down and trap games are a reality of the regular season.

It is now water under the bridge and the Wild must continue to look forward and learn from the experience. This is a different team these days and they are coming together.

Next up for the Wild is the Sharks on Monday night as they begin a five game home stand. The Xcel Energy Center has not been much of an advantage this season for the Wild. The league's best home team a year ago has struggled on home ice this season to the tune of 14-13-6 record and have just 1 win (1-4-3) at the Xcel since January 19th.

That must change in order for the Wild to continue their March to another playoff berth. They still control their own destiny as the season winds down to it's final four weeks.
