Hearing A LOT of talk that the Sabres and Skinner are making some progress in backroom talks about a long term extension...Jack Eichel is the biggest Skinner booster out there and that is not a bad guy to be on your side...
Now a little bragging....
Last night the HockeyBuzz 9100 Prediction Generator went 9-3 bringing us to a 20-7 so far this season...(remember this is only an exhibition, not a competition, please NO WAGERING) Remember, since we are each day calculating our FINAL Projected Standings by predicting all the remaining games based on 24 changing factors it's the ones we lose which have the possibility of changing the new predicting standings...

Montreal losing in Anaheim, combined with Columbus defeating the Penguins last night has put the Jackets into the Final Playoff spot in the East and knocked Montreal out...Meanwhile, the Flyers win on the Island has pushed the Flyers into the third spot in the metro and a matchup with the Penguins...
