Sharks In Town As Home Stand Begins |

The make or break five game home stand begins tonight as the Wild host the Sharks.
There is no doubt the Wild have improved significantly since the trade deadline, but none of that matters if they do not take advantage of their home ice.
To say the Wild have not been good on home ice is a gross understatement. Having won just once at the Xcel Energy Center since January 19th is all that anyone needs to know.
We can finally put the Brent Burns trade to be as the last remaining piece if the deal, Charlie Coyle has been sent to Boston. Burns is just another Shark and his history as member of the Wild ancient history.
However that said I may allude to the deal at some point in the future as Ryan Donato for Brent Burns, somewhere down the road. I has to throw it out there.
Tonight is a game the Wild should have no trouble getting up for. As both coach and players stated after Friday's debacle in Florida. The boys get up for the better competition.
I for one sincerely hope that that is a thing of the past and that Friday was a Classic letdown, trap type game which happens in every sport. Time will tell.
Two points are all the Wild should be thinking tonight and every night to follow.
It's always Hockey Day in The State of Hockey!
