It was a case of glass half full / glass half empty.

On a positive note, the Coyotes, though they failed to win, did not lose any ground in the standings. They lost, but so did the Wild and the Avs.

If you're more of a pessimistic person, you could say they blew a big opportunity.

The game itself, was brutal.

The Hawks dominated the Coyotes and won 7-1.

The Coyotes remain one point beyind the Wild, and three points behind the Stars *with one game in hand on Dallas.

They remain one point up on Colorado, and four points up on Chicago and Edmonton.

It's a crowded field and there is no telling what is going to happen, other than it's going to be exciting.

The Coyotes played terribly last night, but they've been awesome of late and you have to lose sometimes.

There are 13 games remaining in the season for Arizona.
