In this edition of the hotstove, we share our thoughts on which team has been the least entertaining to watch this season.

The Los Angeles Kings and I'm not sure anyone is close.

They don't have a lot of talent or exciting players in their lineup, and the big names they do have are all having down years. Ilya Kovalchuk has 30 points. Tyler Toffoli has 12 goals. Jeff Carter has 10 goals. Anze Kopitar might not reach 60 points a year after recording 92. Drew Doughty hasn't played great, either, and Jonathan Quick looks completely washed.

They are old, slow, generate fewer chances than any team in the league, and they don't give up that many, either. Their games are where speed and offense go to die. It's really tough on the eyes.

If I didn't live in the Ottawa area and thus watch a lot of their games, I would probably have picked the LA Kings. An aging, boring team with few prospects and every single player underachieving and/or having the worst years of their careers. However, I only have seen them play three times. While the Sens are in the double digits.

I'll exclude the pre-deadline Sens. A healthy Chabot, three cash-hungry guys in Stone, Duchene, and Dzingel mixed with a complete laissez-faire attitude to any zone outside of their opponents, made for entertaining hockey. It was peewee pond hockey, but the goals were plentiful and the amount of chances they gave up, at least had me seeing great moves/moments from the opponents.

Since the TDL...oy vey. Horrible defensive/neutral zone play sans the scoring ability is just not entertaining. It's like watching a Canada vs Kazakhstan game. The only two players to actually watch are Tkachuk and Chabot...who got hurt. White and Balcers are good players, but not worth the price of admission.

They're the worst team in the NHL and it's not an accident. They're the worst team in the league at being broken down and rushed, with a 72 year old Anderson the only thing keeping blowouts. The losing might have had some fun to it if they had their first pick and brought up the young guys, but they don't and they can't. As Belleville is finally finding some winning attitudes.

No reason to watch outside of Tkachuk and the standings to see where Columbus is.

Let's go down to where the bland is, greater Los Angeles. Take your pick of either Anaheim or La as they are both making grey look exciting. There's nothing interesting about either of those teams until Perry or Brown do something immensely stupid to another player.

No need to go into detail but tell me one thing about either of those teams that inspires confidence or even interest in what they are doing?
