Have the Wild Scored Their Final Goal of The Season

It all ends tonight in Dallas, that is the 2018-19 Minnesota Wild season that is. It is also kind of fitting that nearly everyone will be watching the Final Four and enjoying the festivities all around US Bank Stadium today and tonight, while the lights officially go out on the Wild season.

The final question heading into tonight's game may be just this: Have the Wild scored their final goal of the season before the game begins?

Shutout in three of the last five games the Wild offense has simply dried. The exception being the five goal outburst Monday night against the Jets. That was an aberration though and more of a case of some very suspect goaltending and fortunate breaks that resulted in five goals.

Zach Parise will miss the final game of the season as he is still not fully over the flu in addition to his knee injury, it is smart to shut him down.

There is not much that needs to be said about the game tonight, nothing earth shattering to anticipate and really not much to hope for as far as personal accomplishments.

It is the beginning of the next era of the Wild as the page turns. Tonight simply marks the final game of 2018-19, and the beginning if the most anticipated offseason in Wild history.

Paul Fenton will be busy as he continues to make over the roster, and what happens with Bruce Boudreau?

It's always Hockey Day in The State of Hockey!
