Ilya Sorokin won the Gagarin cup playoff MVP award, and now the league has named the best players for the final series.

The best goalie was Ilya Sorokin (CSKA), who won all the four games in the series against Avangard, including two shutouts. The Red Army goalie had a saves percentage of 96.40% with a goals-against average of 0.93. Sorokin’s longest shutout streak was 137 minutes and 55 seconds, a record for the Gagarin Cup finals.

The best defenseman was Matt Robinson (CSKA), who posted two helpers in the final round, with a plus-7 rating (best result among all the Finals’ participants). The veteran defenseman logged an average time on ice of 24 minutes and 46 seconds.

The best forward was Mikhail Grigorenko (CSKA), who scored 6 (5+1) points in the four-game series against Avangard (best result among all the Finals’ participants). The forward scored in three games and was the author of the first-ever Gagarin Cup finals’ hat-trick (in the first game of the series, including the game-winning goal).
