1) During the 2018-19 season, Claude Giroux seemed to reach new franchise history and personal milestones every few weeks. Below is a list of his milestone nights from this past season:

Oct 4: Passed Bill Barber for 3rd on the Flyers All-Time Assist List (@VGK)
Oct 22: Passed Joe Watson for 5th on the Flyers All-Time Game List (vs. COL)
Nov. 8: Passed Chris Therien for 4th on the Flyers All-Time Game List (vs. ARI)
Nov. 10: Passed Rick MacLeish for 4th on the Flyers All-Time Points List (vs. CHI)
Nov. 17: Recorded 700th NHL/Flyers points (vs. TBL)
Nov. 23: Passed Brian Propp for 2nd on the Flyers All-Time Assists List (vs. NYR)
Jan. 16: Recorded 500th NHL/Flyers assist (vs. BOS)
Jan. 23: Played 800th NHL/Flyers game (vs. PIT)
Feb. 4: Passed Brian Propp for 3rd on the Flyers All-Time Games List (vs. VAN)
Mar 6: Passed Rick Tocchet and Mark Recchi for 11th on the Flyers All-Time Goal List (vs. WSH)
Apr 4: Passed Rod Brind'Amour for 10th on the Flyers All-Time Goal List (@ STL)

Additionally, Giroux's 22-goal season marked the seventh time he has had a 20+ goal season. His 66 assists marked the fifth time he has attained 50+ assists, the third time he has had at least 60 assists and the second straight season he has reached 60+ helpers.

Dating back to the start of the 2009-10 season, Giroux ranks 4th in scoring in NHL (735 points). Ahead of him are Sidney Crosby (819), Patrick Kane (796) and Alex Ovechkin (791). Right behind Giroux are Steven Stamkos (720), Nicklas Bäckström (716) and John Tavares (709).

2) Today in Flyers history: 32 years ago tonight, the Flyers wrapped up their 1987 Patrick Division Final (Wales Conference Semifinal) series with a decisive 5-1 win at the Spectrum over the New York Islanders.

A pair of third period goals by Ilkka Sinisalo put the game out of reach after the Flyers got three scores in the opening period from Dave Brown, Brian Propp (shorthanded) and Brad Marsh (also shorthanded). Rookie goaltender and eventual Conn Smythe Trophy winner Ron Hextall (22 saves) blanked the Islanders' attack until the final minute of the third period before Denis Potvin scored an otherwise meaningless goal to end the shutout bid. Peter Zezel and Dave Poulin collected a pair of assists apiece.

The Flyers led the series three games to one after four games but the four-time Stanley Cup champion Islanders showed their resolve in posting 2-1 and 4-2 victories over the next two games. Game Six was especially costly to the Flyers, as they lost more than the game. The club also lost perennial 50-plus goal sniper Tim Kerr for the rest of the playoffs with a serious shoulder injury. He would go on to endure five shoulder operations in a 14-month period and missed all but a handful of games the next season.

3) Flyers Alumni birthday: Depth center Paul Evans was born May 2, 1954 in Toronto.

4) The new installment of the Season-in-Review video series on the Flyers' official website looks at Robert Hägg.
