Team Russia have announced their roster for World Championships

The Russian Ice Hockey Federation can now reveal the senior national team roster for the upcoming 2019 IIHF World Championship in Slovakia.

Goalkeepers: Andrei Vasilevskiy, Alexander Georgiev, Ilya Sorokin.

Defensemen: Artyom Zub, Dinar Khafizullin, Vladislav Gavrikov, Dmitry Orlov, Nikita Zaitsev, Artyom Blazhievskiy, Alexander Elesin, Bogdan Kiselevich, Nikita Nesterov, Mikhail Sergachyov.

Forwards: Ivan Telegin, Alexander Ovechkin, Evgeny Malkin, Sergei Andronov, Artyom Anisimov, Sergei Plotnikov, Mikhail Grigorenko, Evgeny Dadonov, Ilya Kovalchuk, Kirill Kaprizov, Nikita Kucherov, Evgeny Kuznetsov, Alexander Barabanov, Nikita Gusev.

Two more players are expected to be sent back home once the roster is cut down to the final 25 players.
