San Jose Sharks forward Evander Kane is facing allegations sexual assault and domestic battery, made by his estranged wife, Anna Kane.

A.J. Perez of Front Office Sports reported that the allegations were filed in court documents for a domestic violence restraining order application, made by Anna Kane.

Yesterday, the league announced Kane had been cleared of the initial gambling allegations, however, the league is looking into the additional allegations.

In a statement to Front Office Sports, Kane's attorney released the following statement, saying Evander Kane 'denies ever abusing Ms. Kane or their daughter.'
