The New York Islanders announced today that they’ve re-signed forwards Anthony Beauvillier, Casey Cizikas and Kyle Palmieri, as well as goaltender Ilya Sorokin.

Beauvillier is 24 years old and was a restricted free agent. He scored 15 goals and 28 points in 47 regular season games with the team this year and his three-year contract will carry a $4.15 million cap hit.

Cizikas’ new deal comes in as previously reported, at a $2.5 million cap hit for the next six years. The center is 30 years old and scored seven goals and 14 points with the Islanders this season.

Palmieri was acquired by the Islanders from the New Jersey Devils at the trade deadline and played a total of 36 games with the team, between the regular season and playoffs. His new contract is four years long and will carry a $5 million cap hit.

Sorokin signed a three-year contract extension, which carries a $4 million cap hit. The netminder posted an impressive .918 save percentage in 22 regular season games with the team as a rookie.

Check back in the coming days for analysis on each contract.
