Every article, I try to include a poll question for readers to vote on, then review the results from the week’s polls every weekend. Here are this week’s poll results and my thoughts on how they turned out.
QUESTION: How did you feel about Brendan Guhle's performance this season?
(Votes: 54)
Did not meet expectations: 54%
Met expectations: 39%
Surpassed expectations: 6%
In all fairness, it probably depends what everybody’s individual expectations were for Guhle. He’s still just 22 years old and had just 29 games of NHL experience across three seasons prior to this year, so to me, he met expectations.
QUESTION: Do you think the Ducks got Troy Terry at a good price for a three-year deal?
(Votes: 47)
Yes: 96%
No: 4%
Yeah, I don’t think there’s much of a debate here, as shown by the results. Terry projects as a quality NHL winger and to get that price on a three-year deal is certainly a win for the Ducks.
QUESTION: Do you think Adam Henrique will either be selected by Seattle or traded before the 2021 Expansion Draft?
(Votes: 73)
Yes: 81%
No: 19%
This is where I’m at too. The Ducks have too many quality young forwards who will need to be protected in the expansion draft and while Henrique may be one of the team’s top forwards, he’ll be 31 years old and isn't likely to be part of Anaheim’s future.
