The Los Angeles Kings will be selecting second overall in the 2020 NHL Draft.

This couldn't have gone much better for the Kings. I can get why teams will be frustrated about the situation with the first-overall pick, but the Kings are guaranteed to get a star, likely Quinton Byfield.

I had said that the Kings have enough depth at center as is, but there's no way you can pass on Byfield. I'll go more in-depth on the pick in the future but for now, this is a great day for the Kings.
