In an interview with Sportsnet’s Gene Principe a couple of days ago, Ryan Miller gave some insight on his future with the Anaheim Ducks. Miller made it clear that he wants to play next season, but is also “trying to be realistic” in his own words.

You can watch the clip below:

It’s definitely a positive to see that Miller at least hopes to be back next season, even if it’s by no means a certainty and it sounds like if all was normal, he'd be playing next year. That said, it'll obviously depend what the situation is with the pandemic.

He’s pretty much the ideal backup and it would be cool to see how high he’d be able to get on the NHL’s all-time wins list, should he continue playing. In the meantime though, it’s just a waiting game.

Miller is also auctioning off his game-worn equipment and other items, with all money be donated to organizations who are helping families with children that have been affected by COVID-19.

Here's today's poll question (results and discussion will be posted on the weekend):

If Ryan Miller plays next season, where do you think he'll finish on the all-time wins list (currently at 387 wins)?
Only passes Dominik Hasek for 14th (389 wins)
Passes Chris Osgood for 13th (401 wins)
Passes Grant Fuhr for 12th (403 wins)
Passes Glenn Hall for 11th (407 wins)
