Bordeleau was selected 38th overall by the Sharks in this year’s NHL Draft. He’s in his first year in the NCAA, where he has two goals and seven points in six games with the University of Michigan.
The team will still need to cut four more players ahead of the tournament and the forward does still have a year of eligibility remaining for the tournament, meaning he could be cut this year and still return to represent the United States at next year’s tournament.
