The Anaheim Ducks played two games this week and currently hold a 6-6-3 record. Here’s the recap of news and notes for the week.

DUCKS SPLIT SERIES WITH GOLDEN KNIGHTS

The Anaheim Ducks split their two-game series against the Vegas Golden Knights this week, losing the first game 5-4, before shutting out Vegas in the second game with yet another 1-0 win.

PROSPECT UPDATE: JAMIE DRSYDALE

While eyes are on key prospect Trevor Zegras, defenseman Jamie Drysdale is also off to a great start with the AHL’s San Diego Gulls. So far, Drysdale has managed one goal and four points in his first four games of the season.

As for our poll questions this week, here are the results, along with my thoughts on how they turned out:

QUESTION: Are you happy with how Isac Lundestrom has performed with the Ducks so far this season?

(Votes: 30)

Yes: 67%
Don’t feel strongly either way: 27%
No: 7%

Lundestrom has two goals so far and was very close to a third against Vegas, if not for an outstanding save by Marc-Andre Fleury. He’s been great defensively and looks like he could earn a permanent spot in the lineup.

QUESTION: Do you think Max Comtois has been Anaheim’s best forward so far?

(Votes: 29)

Yes: 76%
No: 24%

Comtois already has six goals in 15 games and leads the Ducks in points as well. On a team that has struggled to score, Comtois has been effective so far.
