The Anaheim Ducks lost all three of their games last week but a key prospect also made his NHL debut. Here’s a recap of news and notes from last week.
DUCKS LOSE ALL THREE GAMES
The Ducks had a rough week losing all three of their games. They blew a three-goal lead in both of their games against the Arizona Coyotes, before falling to the Vegas Golden Knights in overtime on Saturday.
ZEGRAS MAKES NHL DEBUT
Prospect Trevor Zegras made his NHL debut last week, playing three games with the Ducks. Zegras was selected ninth overall by the Ducks in 2019 and had started the season with the AHL's San Diego Gulls. He didn’t manage a point but did score a shootout goal in the second game against the Coyotes.
ROWNEY INJURED, LINDHOLM RETURNS TO LINEUP
Forward Carter Rowney was injured last week and has been placed on injured reserve with a lower-body injury. Defenseman Hampus Lindholm returned to the lineup on Saturday after missing some time with an injury but will be out once again for tonight’s game.
