The Carolina Hurricanes played four games this week and signed a goaltender to an entry-level contract. Here’s a recap of news and notes from the week.


HURRICANES WIN ALL FOUR GAMES

The Hurricanes won all four of their games this week, beating the Florida Panthers twice and also picking up wins over the Detroit Red Wings and Nashville Predators. Carolina has now won five games in a row.


HURRICANES SIGN BECK WARM TO ENTRY-LEVEL CONTRACT

Carolina signed prospect Beck Warm, a 21-year-old goaltender, to an entry-level contract this week. Warm has a .935 save percentage in five games with the AHL’s Chicago Wolves so far this season, coming off four years spent in the WHL.


JARVIS RETURNS TO PORTLAND

Forward Seth Jarvis is rejoining the Portland Winterhawks, with the WHL season starting up. Jarvis had an impressive seven goals and 11 points in nine games with the AHL’s Chicago Wolves this season.
