San Jose Sharks prospect Yegor Spiridonov has been invited to Russia’s 2021 World Juniors selection camp.

Spiridonov was selected by the Sharks in the fourth-round of the 2019 NHL Draft. He’s played a total of 12 games in Russia this season, split between the KHL, VHL and MHL.

While he’s never played in the World Juniors, this is Spiridonov’s final year of eligibility for the tournament. He’ll be one of 25 skaters competing for a spot on Russia’s final roster and he should have a good shot at making the team.
