Game 41 Preview: Flyers vs. Canadiens

In the final game of a four-game homestand, the Philadelphia Flyers (20-14-6) will take on the Montreal Canadiens (17-17-5) on Wednesday evening. Game time at the Wells Fargo Center is 7:00 p.m. ET.

After this game, the Flyers will have reached the statistical midpoint (Game 41) of their 2023-24 season schedule.

The Flyers enter this game coming off a 4-1 loss to the Pittsburgh Penguins on Monday. The Canadiens come into this tilt with two wins in their last three games, including a 4-3 (1-0) shootout win at home against the New York Rangers on Saturday. The Habs were unable to protect a 3-0 lead but rescued a victory in the shootout.

Newly acquired desensemen Jamie Drysdale is expected to make his Flyers' debut on Wednesday, paired with Travis Sanheim. Sanheim will move back to left defense to allow the right-handed shooting Drysdale to play his natural side. Lineups will posted to the gameday blog this afternoon.
