Game 35 Preview: Flyers @ Seattle
The Philadelphia Flyers (19-11-4) are right back in action on Friday, visiting the Seattle Kraken (13-14-9). Game time at Climate Pledge Arena is 10:00 a.m. ET.
Coming off a
4-1 win in Vancouver on Thursday to start a four-game road trip, the Flyers are playing the second game of a three-in-four stretch. Philadelphia has collected at least one point (8-1-3) in 11 of their last 12 games. Seattle brings a three-game winning streak into Friday's game.
The Flyers will not hold a morning skate on Friday. Travis Konecny (illness) is questionable to doubtful to play in the game depending on how he is feeling. He played in Vancouver on Thursday but felt worse as the night went along and left the game early in the third period.
Seattle has multiple players are on IR including goalie Phillip Grubauer, former Flyers checking forward Pierre-Edouard Bellemare and Jordan Eberle. The Kraken were idle on Thursday. On Wednesday, they earned a 2-1 road win over the Calgary Flames for their third straight win.

Lineups below are subject to change will be updated shortly prior to the game. If Konecny is unable to play, the Flyers may dress callup forward Rhett Gardner or play 11 forwards and dress seven defenseman. Line juggling is likely no matter how the first shift personnel would rotate.

Phantoms Update
The Lehigh Valley Phantoms (13-11-4) are idle on Friday night. The team will close out the 2023 calendar year with home games against the Hershey Bears (25-6-0) on Saturday and Charlotte Checkers (14-10-3) on Sunday. Both games will be streamed live on AHLTV (subscription required).

2023-24 World Junior Championship Update
Slovakia improved to 3-0-0 at the World Junior Championships with an 8-4 victory on Friday against Norway. Flyers prospect Alex Ciernik (16 shifts, 10:41 of ice time) chipped in an assist for his first point during the tournament to date.
On Thursday, Flyers 2022 first-round pick Cutter Gauthier racked up four assists in Team USA's 11-3 rout of Switzerland. Gauthier's linemate Jimmy Snuggerud posted a hat trick and an assist for the Americans. On Friday, USA is taking on Czechia. As of this writing, the score is 3-3 in the third period. Gauthier has not recorded a point.
At 1:30 p.m. ET, Team Canada (Oliver Bonk) will take on tournament host Team Sweden at Scandinavium in Gothenburg.
