A more detailed analysis of what has transpired from the Expansion Draft to today’s opening of Free Agency (better known as craziness) will come this weekend. But I thought it would be a good start to present what happened factually today in order to set things up.

Like I said, more to come as there is a lot to take in. I'm not going to post an article every time a "story" breaks. I prefer to analyze how things are as opposed to prognosticating what is to come or how things in Preds' world ought to be. I am not in Poile's mind, but I think it is best to analyze what could be in conjunction with what should be, in my opinion, instead of randomly posting wish lists or rumor dominated ideas. I have my ideas and I will gladly present them. But I will not post random speculative rumors of who may come to Nashville just because person X thinks it's possible. I'm a lawyer by trade, so I deal with facts and seek to apply these facts to reality. Not create my fantasy list like it's NHL '22. I'll leave that to others. I seek to be honest and straightforward. Not a fortune teller or dream-team builder. We’re going to have a lot of fun assessing training camp and speculating the roster, but today is not the day. We need a roster first.

Tune in Sunday evening and I will break down what has happened, where we are, and what I believe would be wise next steps.
