Trade Wild get former University of North Dakota center Tyson Jost from Colorado in exchange for Nico Sturm.

Analysis:
Sturm is on an expiring contract and will be a UFA at the end of the season. Jost is a former first round draft pick #10 overall back in 2016 and has another year left on his contract that pays him $2M per season before he becomes an RFA.

Jost obviously brings higher upside potential as a top six center for the Wild and on a very cap friendly contract. Jost obviously has not met his draft potential however is that a byproduct of his position on the Avalanche and will that be realized here in Minnesota?

More to come and I am certain Guerin is not done....
