We may have finally seen a break in the wall that has been put up between teams and RFA's.. We saw Tampa sign Sergachev last week and now there are rumblings that a Barzal deal with the Islanders could be in a similar spot...however there is also some behind the scenes stuff being passed around that if they can't get the right bridge deal for Barzal they do have two teams who are ready to offer them serious deals...

This could all be negotiations to get Barzal to sign on the line and end this.. I am not convinced that the Islanders aren't allowing some of these possible trade leaks out to test how much Barzal wants to remain an Islander....more to come.
