The Boston Bruins just got a lot better for a little bit of money.
Today they announced the official deals for Patrice Bergeron and David Krejci. Each player signed a one-year deal. Bergeron signed for 2.5M with an additional 2.5 in performance-based incentives. Krejci signed for just $1M, with an additional $2M possible in incentives..
These signings have long been rumored, but the fact that they took a while to finalize and announce, coupled with a lot less cap hit than had been predicted will lead to a lot of speculation as to whether or not there is more coming from Boston.
Update: and just like that the bruins have apparently signed Pavel Zacha to a one year 3.5m deal.
