But lets start with Erik Karlsson. Karlsson’ s salary of 11.5 is for sure hard to take, but a that has not stopped at least 4 teams from working on some scenarios behind the scenes here…There are teams who have serious interest and are trying to bring a third team in to help bring the cap hit back even more…
The names out there….
Florida…I TRULY don’t know how such a deal could possibly work (unless Bob would somehow agree to it) but the Panthers have shown an amazing amount of creativity and may be in need of a little spark here.
Edmonton….Darren Dreger brought them up yesterday and Mark Spector shot it down. It doesn’t seem like a good idea given the style he plays and how much of the time he wants to be the guy with the puck..HOWEVER, I will agree that Edmonton’s name is out there when it comes tp this. Dreger isn’t wrong here…
Vancouver…. This is Interesting. Boeser will likely be moved, and from what I am hearing Horvat will likely NOT be back for next season either. The Canucks fan base s calling for a major shakeup…This kind of deal would qualify..
Washington… Keep your eye on the Caps in general. They are committed to not. Rebuilding as long as Ovechkin is with them.
Toronto. Muzzin might never play again, and with the cap going up the Leafs may be able to do something if a third team could eat some salary along the way..No one running a hockey website can possibility be prepared for what this deal would do to our servers… I hate putting out Leaf rumors because there are just so many…. I tried VERY hard to get ANYONE with knowledge to tell me there was no way this could happen…And they wouldn’t.
Seattle..Maybe. But so far only a few sources are talking about this one.
The Islanders…I was told that the have already tried by getting a third team involved, however they ran into too many obstacles…Not saying they couldn’t give it another shot or things could change of course and the price/process opens up in the near future…
