Word this morning that the Islanders are finally about to file some of their deals, with the first one being Anthony Beauvillier, who is rumored to be getting just north of $12M on a 4-year deal. The Islanders have had many deals done but did not file them with the NHL as they were rumored to be working on a big move....Either Tarasenko or Eichel...and the Isles Lamoriello likes to hold his cards close so other teams don't get any negotiating advantages...
So the real story here is "What has changed? Why are these deals finally getting filed now?"
Has Lou given up on getting in on Tarasenko or Eichel, or does he now have something in place? We will see...
