On yesterdays's buzzcast we had Kevin Allen of USA Today break some big news...
At around 15:50 into the podcast Kevin Allen threw out this bombshell:
"The conclusion of several General Managers is that the Karlsson deal will get done in the next few days..."
Kevin went on to say that the Lightning don't look like they are likely to be able to pull it off. They can't compete with what is being offered by a few teams in the West.
Kevin asked one GM "Do you really think it could be Vancouver?...He said it makes sense based on sustaining the fan base and that the Canucks think they are further along...he said that have a real legitimate shot..."
"One GM thought Vancouver was the front runner, but also don't discount Vegas...And I agree that San Jose is right in this."
"Another GM said he didn't think Vegas was in."
"Karlsson is open minded as to where to go to ...he is just looking for a good circumstance."

Again, personally I am hearing a lot about San Jose And I am also hearing a ton regarding the fact that Ottawa wants to get this done here in August...
Kevin also went on to say that the offers for Justin Faulk have not been good enough and they are going into the season with him...
