Lucic to Vegas? Surprise Team in Metro STILL among favorites for Karlsson |

Quick hits on this Friday late in August....as the GMs are slowly starting to get back from their cottages and back at it...
Lucic and Vegas?
So the first thing that I thought of when I heard this rumor is how can Milan Lucic skate with arguably the fasting playing team in the NHL in Las Vegas...However, it was mentioned to me that McPhee, an old veteran of the once rough and tough Patrick Division, was none too pleased that his group was pushed around in the Cup Final by Tom Wilson and the Caps....and to a lesser extent the Jets prior to that. Lucic would be a perfect fit in some ways...
Karlsson Rumors....
It was reported yesterday that Erik Karlsson would not be willing to sign an extension to play with a team in Canada...Today Karlsson debunked that by reaching out and telling people that was simply untrue...
It has been widely reported that Karlsson would be moved out West as well, but one team in the Metro, The NJ Devils, are still very much pushing for a possible deal...and they are offering what some are telling me is as attractive of a package as anyone.
stay tuned...I really feel Karlsson is close to getting done and I wouldn't be surprised if San Jose or Vancouver step up even this weekend...
