We live in incredibly tough times...so I am sick of hearing the talk of "whoever wins the stanley Cup in this scenario will have an asterisk...
This season is different because LIFE is different. People are sick. People are dying. People who are talking about the Stanley Cup Winner having an asterisk next to their name are truly idiots. I don't get it at all.
Last I checked we did play around 70 games in the regular season, right?
And while I am reading people saying that winning the Cup will be even harder, that a team may have to win 5 rounds to win the Stanley Cup instead 4 rounds, I can confidently tell you that SOMEONE will win the Cup.
And that to me is more important than anything else. The most important thing right now is perspective. All Communities are hurting. The Hockey Community will be hurting a little less when we have hockey games to look forward to...
