Here is a player who will absolutely be moved...Nyquist is a the kind of rental teams LOVE to grab...He can score, play anywhere, and has been on long playoff runs...He is also having his best NHL season to date... And he has a relationship with Mike Babcock...It has had its ups and downs, but now I am hearing he could be heading to Toronto...
On Cam Talbot...
There is a market and a willingness to move Talbot...I have heard NJ, Boston, Columbus, Philly, as well as Toronto (in the last hour)
On Oilers GMs...
I don't expect a GM to be named during the season...The search for a GM deserves a lot more research than can be done in season..that is certain..Just ask the Flyers...unless you have someone in mind already, and I don't get the sense Edmonton does, you are better off waiting...especially given the Nicholson/Hitchcock experience already in place...I would kind of expect the candidate to come out of the Hockey Canada program...Hextall doesn't make a ton of sense though.....Remember the Hurricanes and Seattle franchise are also looking at GMs currently as well...
